Thomas Dam got the idea to make the original rubber troll on a trip to the United States in the 1960s. Since that day many exciting editions of the Dam Troll have been developed in rubber and dressed in different clothes.
The small popular Good Luck troll becomes the creative focal point of a new nationwide campaign to raise money for the Cancer Foundation (In Denmark). A large number of popular Danish artists, designers and celebrities have been asked to transform the world-famous Dam Troll into fun and decorative fantasy figurines.

Let’s celebrate the everyday heroes who solve the daily tasks and problems. The small and big ones that we often take for granted and forget to say thank you for. Everyday heroes who walk among us every day! They are everybody’s ”Everyday Superhero” and they deserve a tribute of appreciation.
The Christmas Trolls of the Pinedam family originated from the original Goodluck Trolls created by Thomas Dam. In co-operation with the Dam family the Goodluck Trolls are now launched as Christmas Trolls.
